Our vision is to deliver fundamental new insights into the role of S-acylation in cell physiology and elevate this modification to the same prominence as phosphorylation and methylation/acetylation in classrooms, lecture theatres and textbooks- and, in so doing, unlock its potential as a future drug target for industrial, clinical, and societal impact.
